FIRST Norway

Being part of FIRST connects you with security professionals around the world. But it's also a great way to connect with your local community. So when we use the term FIRST Norway, we are referring to the community of Norwegian FIRST teams. We meet regularly and try to make Norway more defendable by sharing what works (and what doesn’t) so we can all improve our security posture. Hosting the Cold Incident Response conference is our yearly excuse to get together in Oslo, learn cool stuff, and hang out with like-minded people. FIRST TC: Cold Incident Response

FIRST Technical Colloquia (TCs) are local, hands-on events, hosted by local teams or regional CSIRTs, aimed to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building across the security community. Norway happens to have a particularly active, competent, and inclusive community, and that is what makes Cold Incident Response the largest TC under the FIRST umbrella, bringing together 300 of our closest friends in Oslo every year.
